Wow, what a week here in Nashville. We all watched as the rains came… then we watched what has been described as a “train” of rain cells line up and unload on our city. I have to say… after seeing the damage and the preliminary clean up that I am Proud to live in this great city and am so grateful to all who have helped us start the recovery process. Here in Nashville, you dont see a lot of folks complaining, looting (we have had only 7 looting arrests. 7!!)… Here in Nashville, we just get to work on the problem. Nashville recorded only 28 days during which high temperatures reached 90 degrees or above during the summer. The usual number is 43. Rainfall totaled 12.70 inches during the three months – 1.57 inches above normal. June and July had more rain than usual, while August was drier.” Pretty cool… Read More →
